RESILIENT SMALLHOLDER INITIATIVE
AN INITIATIVE DRIVEN BY PRIMA/EU PROJECTS
Resilient Smallholder Initiative presented its activities at the conference on “Transforming Agri-Food Supply Chain for a Sustainable Future” organized by InovFarmer.MED, in collaboration with the Arab Academy of Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), in Alexandria, Egypt.
The objectives and the contributions of the 11 contributing partners have been presented to the participants.
Co-opAbility specializes in systemic transformation by leveraging deep expertise in systems thinking, stakeholder engagement, and impact measurement. It focuses on driving meaningful change within complex systems by combining research, analysis, and participatory, co-creation methodologies. It has participated to several international collaborative projects to co-design sustainable organizational solutions particularly targeting small and medium-sized farms.
This is a great opportunity for all of us to benefit from Co-opAbility experience and network, leveraging focus group sessions and other participatory and co-creative activities with stakeholders across the agri-food value chain to achieve impactful outcomes.
79 people joined the 1st webinar of the Resilient Smallholder Initiative for a round table of contributing partners and discussions on future opportunities to build synergies between projects, share know-how, lessons learned and dissemination activities to increase impact and visibility.

The first webinar organized by the newly created Resilient Smallholder Initiative (RSI) will take place on November 21st, 2024 from 2pm to 4:30pm CET (UTC+1). The main purpose is to have short presentations from all contributing partners to identify how the group is addressing the various aspects of smallholders’ resilience as a preparation to future working groups and activities.

Finally, Resilient Smallholder Initiative has its own web site to present the main objectives, the contributing projects, how they work on increasing smallholder farmers’ resilience and the future events that will be organized by the group.
The Resilient Smallholder Initiative was launched on May 31st, 2024, by PRIMA RESILINK, PRIMA INOVFARMER, PRIMA MED-LINKS, H2020 FAIRCHAIN and HE EU4ADVICE. The main objectives are to collaborate, organize events/webinars, share knowledge, results and tools to increase smallholder farmers’ resilience in the agri-food chain.
